FUMI DESALU-VOLD
Fumi was the winner of the first-ever Super Model competition for West Africa in 1991 and went on to have a successful career as a model for several major fashion houses in Paris, Milan, London & New York. Upon her relocation from London to New York, she was accepted at the famed Actors Studio where none other than James Lipton declared that she was going to be a Star.
With her training spanning across a 20yr career in the fashion, beauty and entertainment industry Fumi's YouTube channel, has caught the eyes of the American television network, E! Entertainment for her own Fashion Police Red Carpet Review she does every season at the advice of none other than the late Joan Rivers. Last year she was invited by the network to their exclusive Golden Globes watch-along party alongside other celebrities’ elite in London.
Her multicultural background has exposed her to various lifestyles and attitudes towards fashion, beauty, lifestyle and film.
Fumi is working towards having her daytime talk show and continues to work in the world of entertainment and fashion. She has also created a platform to encourage and support women and girls of all ages called, "Sister-2-Sister" where some of her episodes have been played in the auditoriums for students at Harvard University.
With a degree in Business, Fumi and her husband have their own company and are looking forward to launching her clothing collection, cosmetic line, skin care and shapewear, building her brand to represent her vision and carving out a niche in the industry that is unique to all of her experiences and the fortune of travelling the world and experiencing so many different cultures and religions most especially her home..........AFRICA.
In 2023 she was featured in the Financial Times and as well as having gone viral in most of West And South Africa for saying ' What is DELAYED IS NOT DENIED"
